After
several years training as a pianist, and then teaching
myself guitar and percussion, at the age of 14 I
started playing in clubs performing my own and other
people’s songs. On leaving school I worked
as a session musician, busker and performer, as
well as a backing singer. Over the years I have
also worked on many recording productions and coached
many singers, as well as playing with a number of
bands. I have made an all-girl-singers album, a
latin jazz album and a classical album and book
of piano works, as well as a CD EP with a band for
Education in Africa (for charity)and am currently
working on 2 new album projects. I went back |
to
college in 1996 to complete a jazz improvisation course
and have become a latin/African jazz specialist. And I
am still doing pretty much all of this now! |
